when you finish a game on the pc that is
do you uninstall it to denote that you are done with it ( finished over ! )
or do you keep it around just in case you want to mess around with it a bit more ?

currently im debating keeping sleeping dogs saints row 3 and ghiostbusters around even though i havent touched them any more since i finished them and they are only eating hd space

but i MIGHT want to play them again "soon" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeZ9HhHU86o
I uninstall them, unless they are games that I could replay a bit every time and again.

When I complete a game, I normally uninstall it right away. I only make an exception for games that have DLCs or unlocked modes to play after I finished the base game. If that's the case, I normally leave it on the HDD for some more time.
Games like Pharaoh and Caesar 3 I will never delete, since I love going back and looking at the old cities that I built long after I've finished playing. I have to be careful though - I find it easy to 'hoard' installations for no good reason. In fact, I'm going to delete Stronghold HD right now thanks to your post. I mean, I did finish it a week ago (on hard mind you)

Depends on the uninstall options which is another reason I LOVE GOG!!! They always give you the option of keeping your saves. It's always sad to bust my ass winning a game and then have to lose everything just to free up some hard drive space.
I don't uninstall unless I need the space or when the game was a horrible piece of shit that I'd like forget ever existed...

There is only one game that I really regret uninstalling: F117. I don't know what came over me. I got a bit over zealous with spring cleaning my gog games folder :P I bought F117 shortly after its gog release, and that version still had the indentify-the-aircraft-security-check when you launched the game. Unfortunately gog updated the game to remove that security check , which was one of my fond memories of the game :(
Delete! Actually I have to cause I'm running out of room... I think a system refresh might be in order...
I delete a game when it's 100% completed, if the game is under 5 Gb, I usually try to keep it in my hard drive as long as I can.
I really don't like uninstall heavily modded games, it's a pain installing them again and for this reason I write modding guides for some games so I can easier install them if I need to. Other than that I usually uninstall story-driven games that I have completed as it's unlikely I will replay them any time soon.
Depends on:

- size vs available space on the drive
- how big of a pain it was to get it going in the first place. I'd rather keep it on there if reinstallation requires jumping through a lot of hoops a second time.
- likelihood of going back to it. This includes noting how well my laptop handles it.
Heck, I uninstall even if I don't finish and I haven't touched it in a while.

A few games, though, I always keep installed: the Mount & Blade games, VTMB, the original Majesty, and Stronghold.
It depends on the game, really. Some I play every once in a while for quick bouts of fun. Most I just uninstall, though.
As long as my HDD can keep them, they stay there :) I do general cleaning once in a while when I don't have space to install new stuff.
Usually I don't uninstall a game unless I really hate it for one reason or another. Space isn't much of a concern for me.

An exception is small DOS games and the like that are about 1MB or less. Having a bunch of folders around gets messy.
