ET3D: If there's no further limitation (some more context), I wonder if that's even legal. Can you really legally say "by clicking here you can sue me forever ever no matter what I will do in the future?"
Don't think they can prevent single lawsuits but since a courtcase a few years ago it's perfectly legal to have a eula that states you opt out of class action lawsuits if you agree/purchase.

Shadowstalker16: ... They should just close up as a games-developer and make 16fps slideshows.
HAHAHAHAHAHA, indeed. I think Ubi developers are the worst ever, or may be Ubi just don't send enough money to their studios, OR maybe both.

It is amazing how companies like Ubisoft can't take for example EA mistakes and learn from them. Worst is that they state before WatchDogs release that they have "learned" from RockstarGames... I still wonder what they learn because Unity and The Crew are buggy and unfinished as hell.

The only thing that Ubi takes from Rockstar is the concept from their games, like they did with RedDeadRedemption - AC3. What a shameful company.

Basically, you redeem the free stuff and you agree you won't take legal action against Ubi$oft for the magnificent train wreck of AC:U. Don't they realize they're just digging themselves deeper with this? Anyhow, I for one would like to see them struggle, just so they'll sell off some games they're not working on, ie, Splinter Cell. I don't trust any of my games will be games if its Ubisoft anymore. They should just close up as a games-developer and make 16fps slideshows.
They're offering selection to make up for their failure to release a stable and working product. It wouldn't make much sense if those who'd claimed this offer sue them for making a bad product. This is comparable to off-court compensation.

One thing I do agree on is that Ubisoft has to go down so that some of their potentially good game franchises would be picked up by a company which is gamer friendly. (Heroes of Might and Magic, Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, etc.)
I'm praying they just cleanly sell Splinter Cell to someone else. After somehow by some mistake making SC:Blacklist better than the previous two, they have the franchise on the right foot. And its best to sell it now because no sequel is in development. It'd be crazy to see a ''press shift+up to move completely silently while running and automatically take down enemies in your way'' option in SC7. And ofc the cap to either 16, 24 or 30 fps and you'll probably have to buy Sam's goggles in a mega supersize microtransaction.
