Monolith? Blood + Blood 2 would be a great pack
ID Software?
I'm going with Apogee/3D Realms
It's gonna be Apogee/3D Realms! :)
id Software
Gonna go with Atari (Infrogrames) for now.
I would love Bullfrog, but don't think it's the answer.
id Software (I REALLY HOPE IT'S QUAKE 4!!!!!!!!!)
If it is id I will be very happy. Would loooove Doom 3 and RoE DRM-free. :)

I'll say Team 17, which would be awesome. Infact, any of the publishers suggested would be awesome.
Atari
I'd say Apogee/3D Realms:
- shooters: duh
- when it's hot, I like to take a dip: Developers of Incredible Power, the ROTT devs.
- hungry like a wolf: A Raptor is hungry like a wolf? Dunno really. Could be Wolfenstein.
- Aim for the STARS: Stargunner, from Apogee, OR, it could be related to the STAR Institute from Blake Stone.
- we've got a bleeder: Pretty obvious
- gibs galore: I'd say ROTT got a load of gibs.
- PUMP UP THE JAM: Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold was developed by JAM Productions and published by Apogee.
I'm constantly adding stuff.

- hungry like a wolf: Err, no idea on this one.

OMG, Stargunner! I had that ages ago and loved it. Here's my hopeful vote for Apogee/3D Realms!
I'm going to also guess (again) with Apogee and 3D Realms titles. RotT seems like a definite possibility at this point.
Take Two interactive, it's a pretty longshot but having their games on GOG would be sweet.
Yeah, Apogee-3DRealms seems like a good/fit/great choice.
-shooters/bleeder: pretty obvious/well fit, as already mentioned
-dip: TheCombine's reason is great, but it looks easily like something spoken out of Duke's mouth too
-wolf: i can think only that they published Wolfenstein3D
-stars: thinking the definition of Apogee as a word, stars fit well there
-gibs: agreed that ROTT seems like a safe choice here ;)
