I'm going to have to go with 3D Realms/Apogee also. Apogee still sells it's back catalogue and they sound like a company that's willing to deal with GOG.

thelasthomer: aim for the stars could mean system shock 1

Not a hope in hell. Both system shock games are like the holy grail on here. If GOG were releasing either System shock or the Monkey Islands they would be giving away free money or something .
Still time before the deadline but I'll put my guess in as: 3D Realms.
Thanks.
1C Company. ;) well, longshot. but would be fun to get to play Starwolves.
probably team 17 tough, or Bullfrog. but my guess goes to 1C Company.

I'm assuming the wrong spelling is intentional (part of the hint)?

Well Rockband is an EA game, also Manhunt 2 was a game that was banned in countries.. But also getting drunk is a part of many Grand Theft Autos.
But also Q entertainment developed the Japanese version of Rockband. But PI entertainment developed the Wii/Ps2 versions, but they also developed console versions of Call Of Duty, which was published by Activision for PC and Aspyr for Mac, .

That sounds like a vague hint towards Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold. Which was made by JAM Productions and published by none other than Apogee.
Therefore, using the other clues : shooter, pump up the JAM, Rock Banned, I can honestly say we are getting a slew of games published by Apogee with some games developed by JAM.
*sigh* OK, fine: 3D Realms/Apogee...although I don't get the most recent clue.
-Edit- Ah, ok, I do now. :P

Apogee sounds good to me.
Apogee/3D realms - I remember Blake Stone.
Yep, it's gotta be Apogee/3DRealms. Kinda sucks for me, none of their games really interest me at all.
Eh, going to go ahead and finalize my guess for Apogee.

Lafazar: Yeah, it's probably Apogee:
"Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold and Planet Strike
+ Cheat Codes - [J] [A] [M] [Enter] - These keys are to be pressed one at a
time. When all are pressed, the message "Now you're
Jammin'" appears, and you will be given all keys and 100%
health, but your score will be zeroed out. This will only
work on the registered version of the game."

You are genius sir! At last, 12 hours later, I finally know WHY that little voice in my head was screaming that JAM had something to do with Blake Stone. Alright, now that is just too fat of a co-ink-E-Dink for there not to be something too it.
