CDP Days 2011 Spring Conference has just finished and everything is clear now. If you haven't been able to tune in to watch the live stream, don't worry. We've prepared a quick summary of our presentation with a video recap for your convenience. So, let's not wait any longer.

At the very beginning we had to brag a bit about how awesome the service is doing, of course thanks to you - our great users. And then, suddenly, the lights went off, creepy moans started letting out from all over the place while The EnigmaticT tried to discern something in the dark with his flashlight.

Worry not, it was the announcement of Alone in the Dark, that comes with Alone in the Dark 2 and Alone in the Dark 3 as free bonus materials! This great series starts a new wave of Atari games that will be available in the coming weeks! And on 10th of May as the last game from Atari, we'll release The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut. What's even cooler we're going to have a special, time-limited offer that will give you a 50% discount, so the game will cost you only $4.99!

As we're on the subject of The Witcher, we had more cool stuff about its upcoming sequel on GOG.com. Starting on May 10, everyone who pre-order The Witcher 2 on GOG.com will be able to pre-purchase the game and download 90% of the build, so they can play the game on release day! So if you haven't pre-ordered the game yet, you'd better do that before May 16! More details on The Witcher deals can be found here.

Pre-downloading such huge game like The Witcher 2 is some serious business, and you'd need some serious downloader to do that. That's where the GOG.com Spring Site Update comes in! Late April we'll introduce a brand new, improved and slick GOG Downloader which will allow you to download all your GOG games fast and easy. What else? Personal messaging will be now possible for all our users!

But that's not all! At the very end, spotlight was on your favourite French Monk, who had some news regarding new publishers coming to the site. Microsoft, Electronic Arts, LucasArts, Take2 and SquareEnix - one of those publishers is already signed, while two more from the list are almost on board! Which and when is coming? Well, you'll have to wait a bit for that :)

You can watch the video recap of the presentation here. Enjoy!
The languages will be polish-ed =P
I like how even though I have had the page open and ready since the video was embedded I am not in the "purchased allotment of streams." So.. can't watch it I guess, it keeps trying but nothin' doin'.

Anyway, SecuROM on the disc release is pretty balls. If the disc release was just a disc in a case then I would buy it on GOG, but it comes with a map and other extras I want. If they want you to buy it on GOG why make the retail edition so deluxe?

All that will do is push me to download the GOG version from somewhere to have a DRM free copy.

Isamael: Yes they have. At least that's how I'd read "The GOG version is completely DRM free!".
Gawd, I can't view the livestream!
They didn't mention that in the livestream though ;) I remember what they stated initially, but it seems things changed a bit since that announcement.
Rating info from ESRB, M, of course.

TheCheese33: No censorship? All right!
Ah cool, that one's good to know

tyvm, your factoids will be greatly appreciated :)
Fear Not - there is no DRM on the GOG.com version - that's the only 100% DRM-free version. You will find out more in the GOG.com part, which will start right after the CDP Red's one ends.

Fantastic.
Live game feed coming up! Middle of game, what's important is it is unique and specific to this presentation. Stressing important features here like combat with some exploration.
20 minutes gameplay! Yay! ^.^
It seems that I, and a bunch of other people, will not be able to watch this live stream due to over-demand. Bummer... (

Great, thanks for clearing that out.

):
It says:
"The purchased limit of connections have been reached, Autoreconnecting every 10 seconds..."
Message 2 (after ten seconds):
"Autoreconnecting..."
Message 3:
"The purchased limit of connections have been reached, Autoreconnecting every 10 seconds..."
And it keeps loop and looping.
Can somebody please help?
