Hello,

I just installed Sin* (from the original cd)
Unfortunately even the game's menu is displayed in "rainbow colours".
I played around with compatibly settings but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone here know how I can fix this?

Thanks in advance

System info for reference:

6GB ram

Windows 7 (x64)

You could try running the patcher program I linked to in this post - it can fix colour issues in quite a few games.

Alternately you could try using a .bat file to close explorer.exe while you're running the game - some older games seem to have issues with the way Windows 7 draws the interface.

Example .bat file:

@echo off
taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
start /w sin.exe
start explorer.exe
I tried that program and the game works now!
Thank you very much.
or, you could run the game with admin-rights, with XP or 98/ME rights, and have the Screen Resolution window open. No need to kill off processes and stuff.
