So I just bought XIII, and I can see that my Visa has been charged, (says Pending, but its gone from my aval. balance), but GOG doesn't recognize that I purchased it. Every other game I have bought from here, it is instant, and I have access immediately.

Is there something wrong on my end, or does GOG just need to catch up?

Thanks!

Send support a note and they'll most likely sort it out.
Message support.

Or if you want They're probably lagged or something. Screencap the charge check your email for a recipt and wait a bit. If nothing after like 15 minutes tops then message their support

Well this is why it's strange, because I never got to the confirmation page on GOG. It was taking so long, I just exited out, figured I'd try later. But for whatever reason I went to my bank's page just to see, and there it is, "PreAuthorization GOG.com" for $2.99. So its like only my bank recognizes the transaction happened..

I've had that happen too; no email, no confirmation page, no game, the only sign that anything happened was money being drawn. Message support (or tell the bank to cancel the payment, then try again).

Already messaged support. Don't really want to talk to the bank...I dislike banks, heh. What ended up happening in your case?

I got the game at the end, though I used the bank route (actually, I had used a virtual credit card, so I just cancelled that and tried again). It was during a sale too, so I guess the server gnomes are just overloaded with work at those times.
Yeah, this is a real card. Not sure how I could even cancel it. Call them and say, "Give me that money back!"? They won't care. Not to mention it would take a while to explain or even get to someone. I would like to see GOG fix it on their end, (and I love GOG--I'm a returning customer, so I hope they can!)

Do not worry, that happens from time to time. In my case I received games, but GOG forgot to charge my credit card.
why did you exit. just leave it running in the background. Those annoying messages (don't turn off your system, don't close the page) are for dummies like you :)

I wouldn't worry about it too much. GOG support is excellent. The guys over in Poland should be awake about now, so expect your problem to be solved asap =).
Whenever the webpage looks like its hanging up. I just kind of leave it open until I get a confirmation email.

Like everyone's been saying, support's got your back.

As the posters in this thread have noted: if we have your money, we'll give you a game. If you don't hear from support today, hit me up with a reply or a PM and I will go knock heads. :)

If you have no receipt or email from GOG, it could actually be a billing hiccup. This happens at my work from time to time, it works about like this:

You say "I want this!" and check out with the item, providing all the payment information.
Vendor says to you bank "This person wants to buy this, give us money!"
You bank goes "OK, they have the money in their account, let's just set it aside." and asks the vendor for other information.
The vendor provides information that somehow doesn't mesh with the bank (at my work it's usually a billing address mismatch, or the AVS code being invalid).
Bank says "Screw you, you get no money!" but doesn't instantly put your money back in your account, it holds it for a few days saying 'pending'.. just to be a dick.
You go ".. Aww, why I no can has item?"

It's possible this can't happen with GOG though, but it sure sounds like exactly what we run in to all too often.

Don't worry. Had similar situation few months ago ...I closed browser after 30 sec while processing and did second transaction. I was charged twice, wrote to support and 3 days later $ were on my account. You will not need to contact your bank.
