Has anyone else played this? On the surface it appears to be a really basic RPG, but it's actually a ridiculously complex puzzle game. The graphics are incredibly basic and it's full of Engrish (although I actually find that quite endearing).

Here's a let's play: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbXPzrCU1Zk

I've heard it's similar to DROD, but I've never played any DROD games so I can't make a comparison myself.

Incredibly difficult though, I got completely stuck in the second area (floors 11-20).
Looks like a typical tower-Rpg... Don't think many western people enjoy this kind of game (Grinding and repetition can feel annoying).
omg... my eyes hurt (have not tried the game yet, but the website.... aaaaargh)

It's not really an RPG though. The outcome of 'battles' is completely predetermined by what equipment you have, so it's really a puzzle about which enemies to attack and when.

There's no grinding because there's a completely set number of enemies and no experience points.

Yeah, good old 90s style personal website design. ;D

The first line in the game is "A brave man is walking for save the princess".

Gameplay is nothing like sokoban. If there's any block pushing at all, it'll be of the Zelda variety (push block, secret door opens or whatever).
