Last Ninja 3 on the Commodore 64, sure there are games out there that have deep orchestral style scores and making full use of newer and more advanced technology but Last Ninja 3,hell the Last Ninja Trilogy(not counting the Remix version of Last Ninja 2 just the original) in general had the best damn soundtrack for what was available at that time and did some nice work with the simple(by the standards that these three games were released) 3 channel S.I.D. synthesizer chip seriously they really pushed what that chip could plus they added elemental sounds to the tracks to match the stage's theme for example for stage 2 which was"Wind" they managed to get a sound like that of wind blowing through trees to accompany the music for the stage which was unheard off at the time(mind you this was a 8 bit computer that came out around 1982/1983), stage 3 Water had a sound similar to water trickling mixed into it's theme of course given that they are among my favorite games of time probably makes me a bit biast when it comes to these three games but even if that really is the case that is my answer and I am sticking too it,also biast or not they still had the best soundtracks of any game on the c64 even topping the work of the legendary Ron Hubbard who's legendary work included Thing on a spring, One man and his droid, Monty on the Run and Human Race to name a few.
