I CAN start a website just in the same way as GOG have done and other websites, as long as I get several HUNDRED things in place first one of them being a licence agreement.
And who was looking the other way? READ what I wrote, I advised the poster to be careful about who he openly accuses thats all, nothing else.

I'll just give you a quote directly from that site's "terms" page.
Disclaimer: What does CGPT Ltd Offer? We offer our customers an Installer which patches various
old classic games to make them work on newer versions of Windows (XP & Vista). We
do not in anyway sell the actual games, we only give them away for free as abandonware.

The b/s about "selling only installers and giving the games away as abandonware" alone indicates they do not have licensing rights - at least for some of the titles - and attempt to use such weasel-wording to avoid responsibility for it.
Further, checking the pages for the older games in their inventory - eg Jagged Alliance - and the user reviews of the site [url=http://www.classicgamingpresents.com/store/faqdesk_reviews_info.php?&reviews_id=12][2] [url=http://www.classicgamingpresents.com/store/faqdesk_reviews_info.php?&reviews_id=18][4], proves this to be utter b/s, as they charge the customers for downloading the game and the installer as a complete package. The claim they only charge for the installers is absurd, when the installers were designed to be inseparable from the actual installed content (ie, the games).
