Several months back I posted a message saying that I wished you (GoG) would accept American Express.

Today, I noticed that you do now accept American Express.

I'm sure you didn't do that just for me... but I wanted to say thank you for adding Amex as an additional payment option. Doing so makes shopping here, for me anyway, more convenient and more desirable as I prefer to never use my bank debit online, I do not like PayPal's terms of service, and my Amex card offers me better security and terms.

Of course, I have bought here before and planned to buy here again even if you did not add Amex. But I just want to say that I am very pleased that you did. It makes my decision to buy here even easier and I'll likely buy more and more often because of it.

Thank you.

I like being a member of GoG... because Membership has it's privileges :-)
Just so you know, AMEX is, apparently, a bloody awful payment option for non-US businesses to accept. To the point where many would rather just lose customers than accept it. So yes, you should be thankful for that.

Hell it's a pain in the US from what I hear...

AMEX cards are really nice and if you do a lot of spending the perks are really amazing, but historically they don't have the experience dealing abroad that Mastercard and Visa do.

That and the fact that AMEX wasn't traditionally a credit card and didn't historically have other parties issuing the cards.
