What´s GOGws Big Problem of the last days?
Of course it´s the release of Divinity: Orginal Sin for Backers only, while Steam got the version accessable for everybody who wants to buy (proberbly better term if you are dealing with Steam: rent) it right now.
It seems like a big accident triggered by both Larian and GOG, as Larian thought D:OS could already launch with GOGGalaxy-Support incuded!
And because of that they now want to wait till Galaxy is launched on GOG---while everybody who doesn´t have problems with supporting the biggest supporter of DRM ever---Valve---can right now buy it on Steam.
I´m not sure whether Larian has got the key idea of crowdfunders of Games---we don´t want to create exclusive things. We want to help developers to create ART---and this ART should be the same for everybody who wants to support the developer, whether it is before or after release, whether the person doesn´t mind DRM---or does mind DRM!
So, what about the giveaway?
1. Prize #1 is a GOG-Key for Tiny and Big---Grandpas Leftovers, which was the first indie game on GOG and is still a brilliant plattformer!
2. Everybody is free to put in additional prizes, as long as they are GOG-Key. Maybe I´ll put in additional prizes as well!
3.Giveaway will close on the date DivinityOriginalSin is availible for non-Kickstarter-Backers to buy here on GOG.com!
4. To be in, please just write I swear to support general purchasablity of DivinityOriginalSin on GOG.com!
This swear includes the following.
-if you are a kickstarter backer, please encourage Larian to do so on KickstarterForum/ Comments
-if you can get in contact with Larian on other media, please do so!
-try to mention this issue in the GOGforums @ every suitable discussion---but please do not spam!
5. No rep or registration limit.
6. Winners will be drawn by me (random selection)---additional prizes can be also drawn by me (random selction) or by the one that gifted those prizes (personal selection or random selection)!
It´s up to the gifter!
7. If you want so, please link your effords to solve this problem!
Well, it turns out that the problem has solved without any trouble and I just wasn´t up to date anymore.
So I´ll have to change this GA a little bit:
Simply write: Big is now not even a Tiny problem anymore to be in for Tiny and Big. Don´t look at any other rules!
Oh, and thanks to stg83 for clearyfling the situation and GOGTeam for solving the problem!
