The thread doesn't show up in the forum until there's a reply, like the news announcements

There is certainly a bug there, even the other reviews show as zero comments despite you already replying to them. I wonder if the problem was caused by either the comma or the period at the end. Although they are automatically changed to "_" the database may have become confused.

Yeah that was my thought as well, that or an invalid character that was allowed for some reason and converted to something else

If it were an invalid character, it may well be the apostrophe. ' and ’ for example, are different, even if they don't appear to be.
