Red Dwarf X is exactly like it was from series 1 onwards. Old school. It is as if the series never stopped. Funny as hell and wish it would not end. I know only one episode is left, and I hate that. Was not as keen on back to earth however. X is what it should have been like.

Do you happen to know what channels are carrying it in the US? I personally got it from sites we aren't supposed to talk about here, but my Dad back in the US is wanting to watch.

And yes, the show is significantly better than I would have expected, it's back to the same sort of shows they were doing in series 3-6. Perhaps not as funny, but I think they stand up remarkably well, and certainly are worth watching.
I think you mean Series 3, the first 2 series weren't really that good compared with the later series. But, they were still quite good, unfortunately, I always missed them when I was watching, because the marathon would start and I wouldn't realize that it was on that weekend.

I actually enjoyed all series apart from 9. The first Kryten was a bit...meh but still, on the whole it wasn't that bad starting from series 1.

And still no confirmation on whether Back to Earth is before or after Red Dwarf X. Could be either.
