There's nothing exiting about getting old i'm afraid. I'm in my mid-thirties which is a very good age both fisically and emotionally. But most of the time i feel like everything moves to fast and time is running out.
When it comes to gaming I have a lot of free time to waste in front of the monitor. Too much i think. My professional life is stabilized so i'm not forced to put a lot of effort into keeping my job. That makes me very lazy.
I probably don't focus such a high percentage of my free time on games as I did when I was a kid, but I think I'm actually more devoted and more passionate about gaming as a hobby than I ever have been, if that makes sense.
When I was a kid I just liked playing games, but as an adult, I also like analyzing the themes and messages of my favorite games, learning the history and behind-the-scenes happenings of the industry, and watching how games and genres evolve and have evolved over time.
I'm not sure if this makes me less obsessive about my gaming hobby, or more.

Aliasalpha: Damn I hope I never contract this maturity thing, it sounds nasty. Is there a cure?
