Trid: On their forum found smt like this "Email Larian (support@larian.com) with the SecuROM key for the PC retail version of D2:ED or DKS to get a voucher for D2:DC from the Larian Vault." for retail version. I wonder if it's true.

Here, but there seems to be problem with that.
I wouldn't say it's steam acomplishement. Also, if the devs wanted separate money for some making of videos and dev console... Well... I wouldn't think of them nicely :P

Btw. Are GOG versions of DD and Beyond Divinity updated to widescreen/hi res versions?

Yes, yes they are :D

Good, because Green Man Gaming of course haven't upgrade them (they don't even sell them anymore, lol), so I think I'm gonna buy Beyond here in some time.

Thanks!

By the way, it wouldn't hurt if you mentioned on DD and BD game cards "Now updated to HD!" or something like that ;-)

Anytime :D
The GOG release of DD already had support for higher resolutions, but was replaced with the Steam / anthology version (which is pretty much the same, except for multi-language support and a slightly better configuration program). BD got higher resolution and widescreen aspect ratio support, as well as some Vista/7 compatibility fixes and performance improvements.

BD's publisher, Focus, handled all the original download version releases, so I'm not sure if they would need to be involved in getting any digital distributors to update to the anthology version.

That fourth bullet point was always there. You don't recall a moment when it wasn't there...

*Jedi mind trick*

OOooohhhh, I must've been blind all this time! :P
An update for those with a retail version of Divinity 2:
After some discussion, we will allow people who can provide a personalized picture of the back of their box (clearly visible barcode) and with some form of personal reference on the picture.

For further info, please contact support[at]larian.com

Raze_Larian: Snip
What about those of us who bought both previous versions of Div 2 on GamersGate? Will be offering something for us if/when the Dev version gets released there?

Aningan: I have a DKS Steam key, never used it. What would happen if I add that to my account? Would it add the Director's Cut also, or only for those that activated before? Anyone know ?
I just added a DKS gift to my account, and I got Developer's Cut as well.

Cool. Thanks!
I emailed Larian about the differences in DKS and DE, this is what they replied ......

Hi Ian,

Thank you for purchasing and playing our games.
Developer's Cut can be run in 2 modes: normal mode and developer mode. Normal mode contains the full dragon knight saga adventure.

Kind regards,
