Fellow goggers I'll be in Charleston, SC for two weeks at the beginning of April. When I'm not working, what do you suggest I do/see while I'm in town?
Fort Sumter is a must see.
It's not a bad place, plenty of sidewalk cafes etc, and horse driven buggy rides through the old district.

There is some kind of WWII museum outside of town a bit if you're into that, but usually I'd just have a few with the locals in the historic district when I was there.

I found good, friendly people, a salute to the old south, and a nice charm about the place.
Poker and other types of gambling - if you're into that.
Charleston is one of the great theatre cities. Spend one of your evenings at a play.

Theatre Charleston, http://www.theatrecharleston.com/ for a combined schedule and ticket service.
Thanks for the tips guys. I'll definitely try to see the historic side especially relating to the civil war while I'm there. Maybe I'll be able to catch a show as well.
I first glanced at this and read "Things to do to a Christian". I thought, "oh no, not another one of these threads".
Myrtle Beach, Savannah, Hilton Head if you have time on the weekends. Asheville, NC, if you have even more time to drive, but it's worth the trip.
Things not to do: stand on 500-year-old gravestones.
