Greets

So for the better part of 10 years now there's been a memory of an RTS game that I have not been able to identify, and I'm hoping the GOGers might be able to help me out here. The only things I can remember about this game are that 1. There was a unit that you could send into this "training facility" or "shooting range" and it would upgrade that unit into a green power armored unit that fired a red laser or beam weapon, and 2. One faction was human in the space marine sort of style and the other faction consisted of aliens. The setting also seemed post-apocalyptic or otherwise barren.

Sorry there's not much to go on but any help is appreciated.

Can you tell us anything else, like which platform was this (DOS/Windows), about how old is it, can you remember if it had cutscenes, etc.?
Windows, mid to late nineties. No cutscenes that I remember.

Just a shot in the dark.

That was going to be my guess, but I thought it was too old to be correct as the game would have been relatively obscure by the mid naughts.
Whoa, sorry, been buried in schoolwork lately.

I thought it may have been Dark Colony, too, but the visuals were more WarCraft II-esque than than the more realistic take from Dark Colony. I'm 98% sure that's not the game I'm looking for.

I figured this would be a long shot, but thanks for the input guys.
