DukeNukemForever: So, the first Lands or Lore would be my guess.
I pray for you to be right.

TheEnigmaticT: You know, I'm usually on the forums, too. So if you have questions, I can coyly not answer them here as well as anywhere else. ;)
Good to know and I already see many good questions here ;-) I really appreciate that you want and use different ways to communicate with us.

My little potshot was more that I miss what you do on facebook (polls with hints about next releases) is not on your own site. Last week the Fahrenheit release (gog getting purple) and today another ea release. Without a facebook acount you easily can miss such interesting news. It's of course not a big deal, because luckily there are always some folks who post that stuff also here, but it feels a little bit gog is getting more and more outsourced. Again, it's not really a big deal - except you start to release your games also only facebook...

Actually, I like that GOG isn't cluttering their main homepage with such stuff. I never participate in those Facebook polls and whatnot and, so far, there hasn't been any really crucial FB only info that wasn't immediatly brought up by the community. So let GOG do all their marketing stuff on FB, Twatter and Google +. Therefore if something comes up as news on the homepage, I know that its worth the read.

Good point, keep the marketing outside ;-) In my case the Fahrenheit release was something special to me, one of the very few instant-buys on release day. That's maybe the reason I had the feeling I missed something important. But you're right, it's better to use the other platforms for that stuff and let the forum bring the important news here.

tfishell: I think you could answer this: are you guys working on contractually getting more than 25 games? Like another 25 after this? :)
We are working on more EA titles; that's not really news because we're always working on licensing more titles from everyone. It's what we do. ;)

SimonG: Ok then,

1. What is the lineup of the upcoming EA releases ? Please with release dates and prices.
I'm a helpful kind of guy, so I'll answer all of them.

The line up is:
Today: Awesome game for either $5.99 or $9.99
17 November: Awesome game for either $5.99 or $9.99
22 November: Awesome game for either $5.99 or $9.99
24 November: Awesome game for either $5.99 or $9.99

....I think you get the idea. ;)

SimonG: 2. What publishers have been contracted and how are negotiations going with LucasFilmGames?
Well, we've contracted 40+ partners like Ubisoft, Atari, Activision, and EA. Our attempts to sign many new partners, including LucasArts, are "ongoing".

SimonG: 3. Is GOG holding you hostage or why are you working at 1 am?
I'm participating in NaNoWriMo, so I've been staying up late to try and hit my target wordcount. I generally pop on GOG when I hit a break because, well, I've ended up being the community relations guy.

And there's three answers, none of which contained any actual useful information. This is how I got my user name. :P

Well, actually we now know that you will keep up your Tuesday/Thursday release cycle until the 24.11. No more "5 day promo but no release shennanigans" (my guess is, that then the chrismas promos start). Also, I now know, that you haven't signed LucasArts yet but they haven't flat out rejected you yet.

And that you obviously have way to much free time on your hand... ;-P.

So, I got more than I expected. Thank you.

PS: What will the novel be about?

I have a question... how comes this is on facebook and not on the actual website? Not everybody uses that rubbish :P.
Yeah, I wouldn't have known about this and I barely have any time to get psyched about the new EA releases! 35 minutes to go!

It seems gog changed the release time to 1 pm CET, which means 90 minutes to go. There is a thread about it, but I can't find it now. Will for sure pop up in maybe in hour ;-)

Hrm, guess I can stay awake a little longer. Crossing my fingers for WCIV or Privateer 2!
New releases are usually right now, aren't they?

edit: yeah, they are

Well sure, we all appreciate what you guys do (although I do feel a little bad for the Dungeon Keeper 2 people, except for the rude or finicky ones). You mentioned 25 games originally (or was it "25+"), so I was wondering if you could say something like, "We've gotten another six" or something like that.
How many EA titles are planned in this batch? 4,5 or?
I know System Shock's been the most anticipated game here forever, but frankly I'd hardly play that game these days with the likes of Deus Ex around, I'd rather play Theme Hospital myself.

And more Bullfrog games might mean Syndicate (probably not though because they already said it wasn't going to happen when they signed EA).

As for Alice, don't know what the big deal about it is. Never heard of that one before.

Edit: I of course voted for Ultima 7 - 8 - 9

Chris Vrenna did the entire score for the game, its the most twisted out of this world nightmare before there were nightmares...

the majority of the game plays like the scare crow levels of Batman... and the Cheshire cat is an emaciated tattood badass kitty that taunts and guides...

alice is living ginsu machine and the weapons are the most unique ive ever seen and still j have seen in any videogame.

and sadly its insanely tough to get working on modern systems AKA i want this and hordes of others will too...

also, Chris Vrenna Entire score.... id play the game for the music alone! Did i mention Chris Vrenna yet?
