This looks like it is going to be a fantastic game, but, and here is the but, I cannot buy into a game without knowing the specs the game will need to run, I could end up buying into a game that is of no use to me because my machine is not capable of running it.

I mean no offense by this, but I think this post should have been in the "Bitch about life" thread.
2 Titan Z's in SLI, an i7 overclocked to 10ghz, 32GB RAM, 100GB HDD space - That's just for 1080p play. You'll need 3x that for multimonitor support. You're welcome. ^^
Well just looking at the screenshots my typewriter will be able to play it
Deep Thought will be able to run it. Barely. For full detail you'll need something bigger. Ask the mice.

Well, good news. Deep Thought (aka Deep Blue) is just about as powerful as a pair of Intel Core2 Duos running in parallel. The core i7 920 is about six times as powerful (69GFLOPS against Deep Blue's 11.6).

No, I meant the other Deep Thought. The one a little bit older (than Earth) ;-)

Hm. Well, I suppose we've yet to make one *that* powerful ;)

Reminds me of a joke:

In the future, scientists have advanced so much that they can perform almost any kind of miracle. Exploration outside earth allows man to find God and talk to him. One day, the scientists go to god and say "we think we can now do anything you can do, and would like to challenge you to a contest of miracles." God says "OK" and takes a handful of dirt and breathes life into it. The scientists gather up their machines, power them all on, and start to gather up a handful of dirt, when god interrupts, saying "No, no. Use your own dirt."

That joke made me smirk, but I really dislike it for some reason. xD
