I would like The Witcher 2 as having a good game to play on my newer computer, once I have the money and time to build it, while at the same time adequately testing it out would be nice without furthering the dent in my wallet.

I'd like to get the Witcher 2 because ... hey, I'm a self-funded independent game developer trying to make a AAA title. I can't afford new games!

I'd like The WItcher 2 because every other major PC developer has forsaken the PC market and just gives us crappy console ports.

I've been playing CRPGs since the days of Arcanum and Fallout. I've played Baldur's Gate from the start of the first to Throne of Bhaal more times than I care to count. I recently finished playing the first game, having missed it for three years, and consider it to be a worthy successor to those CRPGs of old. I am totally obsessed. I just received the English translations of Sapkowski's books (well, the two that are available) and am devouring them now. The character Geralt, the world, the monsters, are all fantastic and the first game was full of depth and interesting choices. From what I hear the second is even better than the first.

Why do I want Witcher 2? Because it's the one of the best games realased this year. I played Witcher 1 and I really enjoyed it. For sure, one day it will become a classic, such as Baldur's Gate. Because it has a world, that actually lives. A lots of conent included. And besides, could you give a polish game to a polish guy? ;)

Thanks for another chance to get The Witcher 2. Here was the reason I gave to Skystrider the other day on that The Witcher 2 Countdown Competition. It did not win me the game back then, but who knows it will this time. After all, the reason stays the same :-)
