Hi, all. First of all I'm sorry for my English. Then I have a question for you guys. I'd like to buy the witcher 1 and 2 both. I decided to buy them on gog to support CDP. Now, I'm from Europe, on gog there is written: "We'll bill the equivalent in USD: $37.49 Since the EU price is almost $10 more than the price in USD, we’re giving you a $10 USD credit to spend on GOG.com." My question is: if I buy the witcher 2, will I get $10 and so will I able to buy the first witcher ($10) for free? Thank you.

yes
That's how I've understood it, yes. I bought a physical copy of TW2, though, so I have no first-hand information of how or when the credit is given.

does anybody know this for sure?
If you buy The Witcher 2 from Europe you get 10$ you can spend on stuff here on the website, that should be a code you have to enter when you buy something. You get that code because The Witcher 2 can´t be sold in USD worldwide and you basicly pay more for that game that a US Citizen would. But GOG is a nice site and they give you that money back. If you spend your code in a 2nd purchase on The Witcher 1 you get that for free, yes.

What you nedd to do:

Buy The Witcher 2 and get the code (I guess you get an E-Mail or PN on the Site)
When you have the code you buy The Witcher 1 and enter the code. I´m not sure where you enter it, but that should be discribed in the mail you get.

Thank you, I'll try tomorrow
But why they do that? Isn't $37.49 yet 29.99 euro?

the price in USD is $29.99, which means the euro version is more expensive (so they give back credit).

GOG prides itself on no regional pricing. Unfortunately, it wasn't an option with the Witcher 2 distribution, so they are offering store credit to compensate.
At the Moment 29,99$ USD is 23,59€ EUR, but you pay 29,99€ EUR for the game, that would be 38,11$ USD at the moment. As you can see, you pay a bit less than 10$ USD more, depending on the exchange rate that is sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less, but you get that 10$ USD no matter what the exchange rate is.
By the way: It is possible that they automatically take the discount off the next time you order, so it is possible you get no code to input. It came to my mind a few minutes ago that they did that when I bought The Witcher 2 when it came out.
Ok guys thank you all, I bought the game a few minutes ago. They send you a redeem code for buying a game that costs 9.99$ or less, you have to choose the game from a list and the gift it to you. Gog is amazing, thanks again.
