Elmofongo: Because this is GOG and some or most people here hate Steam or hate the fact that I post this thread on GOG, A long time and trusted user mind you, hate the fact that I post this on GOG instead of asking from the Steam forums.
Even though I just like the GOG forums better.
There have been gog threads about steam sales every year, for years. I know because I often asked for advice about games :P I trust gog's community more than steam forums. So people, please don't fuss about it. Even though I just like the GOG forums better.
Which brings me to why I'm posting now. So, lame as it is, I haven't played DE:HR yet. Now at 80% it really is incredibly cheap, however I'm unsure whether I should buy the director's cut or get the original version in the local store and just add the key to get it (or alternatively, buy the ps3 version which is the most expensive option). I really like the boss changes and the fact that the dlc is integrated well, but the comments I've been reading about bugs and glitches are very discouraging. And I liked the original graphics better, but I won't fuss about it, unless it really changes the atmosphere for the worse. So, what should I do? DC or the original version? I want to have the best experience possible.
Of course, thanks in advance to anyone who answers.
edit: forgot, just in case if it's not clear, I can handle a glitch and crash now and then if the story and gameplay are a better experience.
