Pretty much sums up the whole thread.

Shoelip: I don't get it. Is it just because it's March 31st / April 1st?

cogadh: April Fools' Day

It wasn't really funny, but that may be because I hardly ever use Pirate Bay.

ElPixelIlustre: First time I hear something about this April Fools's Day...

April Fool's is the American version of el dia de los santos inocentes (I grew up in Madrid and Murcia, for about 11-12 years on and off, I moved a lot when I was younger). And it's on April 1st as opposed to November 28th.

Its not just American. It's "celebrated" in most English-speaking nations, plus a few non-English ones.
In Italy we call it "Pesce d'Aprile", April's fish....

That makes a lot of sense. Most spanish videogame blogs post fake news and jokes like these on November 28th.

I think I've had that at the Olive Garden before...
