Any one else apart from me use GOG to get hold of games like Sacred gold or Trine as they can't be arsed with either Valves price for them or to get hold of copies other ways. I used to Own scared gold AGES ago but had to sell due to lack of money. Thanks to this valentines sale I though Stuffit I'll treat my self :).

What's your old Classics you guys have used this sight for?
Giants Citizen Kabuto and Redneck Rampage were the first 2 games I bought from here

I have discovered some real gems though since I joined, I had never played Arcanum, I Have no Mouth, Darkstone, Soulbringer (Bad font on this one though), Anvil of Dawn, Entomorph and a few others. After playing them for a bit they suck you in and you just can't stop playing them.

They do release some great oldies, System Shock 2, Clive Barkers Undying, Shadowman, Sanatarium, Outcast, Severance Blade of Darkness, Sacrifice & Omnikron Nomad Soul to name just a few great classic games. I have found though that as my collection here grows I may go through a time where I don't buy anything for a good few weeks and then they just happen to start releasing stuff I want back to back and beat my wallet into submission!
Darkstone, is an amazing game I found about here through a friend of mine and I got hold of the ultima games from there it's sorta expanded.
Not a classic, but the most convenient sale for me was Neverwinter Nights 2. I owned (and still do) the original Neverwinter Nights 2 and Mask of the Betrayer discs. The amount of patching necessary to install Mask of the Betrayer infuriated me to the point of insanity. Thanks to GOG, I no longer need to patch the game. Just run and have fun! :)
I use steam a lot but if i must put finger what is the best classic game what I've bought on gog.. Perhaps Police quest collection. Even though I have played just 1 and 2 of those or if not that then Gabriel Knight 1.

First game for me in gog wasn't really a classic, it was Witcher 2.
Arcanum, the Fallout games, Sanitarium, Might and Magic VII and IX, Nox, Planescape Torment, The Zork Anthology, the Icewind Dale games, the Baldur's Gate games, the Tex Murphy games, the Bard's Tale (only because I wanted the original games), Phantasmagoria, Temple of Elemental Evil, Dragonshard. I'll throw in the Neverwinter games too, although for some they probably aren't "old school" enough.

That said, I'm slowly getting back into preferring boxed games, if I can find them.
I have bought a stack of games that i had on steam on gog when they are available. The one good thing about steam i like is it keeps track of time in games.
