First of all, I'd like to thank the team at GoG for making this happen. Playing old games seamlessly on new systems is really great !
The current catalogue of Interplay games is great, and will take a lot of my free time, I'm sure ;)
Anyway, I wanted to use this topic in order to propose or hint at new games/publishers... from the good old times, of course!
Some games I'd love to see on GoG are the Bullfrog and Origin ones, playing Magic Carpet again, or Dungeon Keeper without having to fine-tune the DOSBox settings (no hard feelings, Qbix ;) I love DOSBox!) could be great, especially if we want to show those 10-year-olds who's the boss!
The Wing Commander series would also be great, because I only played the IVth one (Price of Freedom - got a new PC for it) and loved it. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to play the previous episodes, and when the Kilrathi Saga came out, I was a student needing money, so it went past me.
Let's hear your suggestions !
high rated
Well, I'm rather young to remember the 'good old days', or most of the good old games at that! ;)
However, one that immediately springs to mind would be Little Big Adventure 2 (aka Twinsens Odyssey). Man, if you could get that on gog.com I'd be most impressed ^^.
Apart from that, I really dont know - I'm using gog.com as a way to discover the great old games that I've missed through age, rather than a trip down nostalgia lane ^^.

well the games from Bullfrog and Origin are now in the hands of EA.
if EA says, "it's ok, put them in your catalogue" then we are able to play these games too.
i hope EA will join gog.com, but i think they will say "our games, we'll let them rotten in our backyard until we can use them for some minigamebull***t like Wing Commander Arena"
But thats EA ;)
Oh, just though - Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee! Saw it went on steam today... was tempted but I'd rather have it from gog if possible...
Also, the original Lion King video game. Dont care what you say, that was an addictive little platformer ^^

ediblespread> If you tried the Lion King game, I'm sure you must have played the original Aladdin platformer ! This was also one of the best platformers I've ever played... and it was kind of hard to get to the end without dying because the lives were quite scarce, and there was no possibility to save the game.
Hrm.. yeah, I believe I have. I loved those games, they were actually hard! I musta been an odd kid liking hard games XD.

Oh yeah, thought of another one: Hercules: Action Game.
Man, all this mention of disney games make me look silly >_<, but these were good games! Honest!
XD

Edit: Apologies for the double post, but this was a new point instead of random off-topic mutterings, so I thought it deserved a post of its own ^^
Edit2: And while I'm here... the diskworld games (the point-and-click ones), Monkey Island... these games getting too new for you guys?

I'd like to see Realms of the Haunting (Interplay). I bought it once but could not get it to run properly.
Also, the early Championship Manager games (now Football Manager of course).
Hmm? Strange : my first post has been edited and replaced by GOG.com's post about Perimeter ?

Hey,
there was a minor bug, we are very sorry for this.
As you can see Your post is back to normal ;)
No problem. Anyway, you're still in beta, right? We're bound to have some bugs ^^
When I come to think of it, that post was quite on topic, in fact!

Bullfrog's gamecatalog would have been a really awesome addition. While we allready are talking about EA, all the games from Westwood is ranked high too.
Microprose has some nice stragegy games, like Roller Coaster Tycoon.
Birger :)
having Bullfrog games here would be a fantastic thing. All the games of my youth once again.... Magic Carpet, Syndicate, Hi-Octane, Dungeon Keeper - wow, that would be great :)
The bullfrog games, monkey island series and also Heroes of might and magic and might and magic. A few of them have been mentioned already but they're so good they can be mentioned again :)
I'd like to see Privateer up on GOG, more specifically Privateer 2 ah, that game holds som good memories. Also maybe Freelancer? They're are of course other games but I can't remember the names of them but I'd like a few more RPGs up on GOG since that is my favorite genre :)
