The Long Dark, a game from Hinterland on Kickstarter

-Article from Eurogamer

-A nice article and interview from Gamasutra

It's a "first-person post-disaster survival simulation set in the Northern wilderness".
An interesting setting, far from killing raiders on the warm deserts. "Cold deserts" deserve more attention in post-apocalyptic settings these days, it's nice to see that they want to explore that way. And it seems more meant to focus on to survive and the loneliness.

It's also one of the first canadian kickstarter projects on their section.
This looks like an awesome game! I have backed it. :)
Pledged.

I was unsure about it until Hinterland posted gameplay presentation. Jennifer Hale just sealed the deal for me :).
This definitely looks interesting and shows great promise. Will be keeping my eye on this one
New screenshots (April 7th 2014), and a lot of coverage in video games news.

IMHO, that's why The Long Dark seems to be promising to me: because no Zombies! ;-)
