http://kotaku.com/the-worlds-oldest-video-game-publication-is-closing-1583538341

The site for CVG is to be closed, and with it closes another chapter in video gaming history. Granted, the last 10 years it was nothing like in it's prime, but it is still sad to see.

Sidenote - Golden Joystick awards are also then hanging loose, as it was hosted by CVG.
Sad to hear this (and the fact that Future is also shutting down Edge Online), but thank you for posting the info.

Very sad. I used to love all those old mags, like C&VG, Computer Strategy Plus, and Computer Gaming World. I also miss the old web-only sites like OGR (Online Gaming Review), Intelligamer, and most recently (before CVG closed) Adrenaline Vault. I wonder how long PC Gamer will still hang around?

At least you can download every issue of CGW, as PDF files, from http://www.cgwmuseum.org/ if you want. Lots and lots of great reviews of games you'll find right here on GOG, too!
Aye sad to see this go although i only read a few issues over the years they where good and now the digital side is going it shows how much things have changed.
