Thanks for the game azah_lemur! I'll keep it for myself, for once. ;)
Andanzas: By the way, I loved this giveaway: great rules, great pictures, and no personal attacks and no big words needed to make a statement. Very classy!
Agreed.
azah_lemur: BTW: I also have a story, although not that dramatic. My family rescued a cockatiel. She flew and rested on our window, probably after being chased around by other birds (had her tail feathers broken). Never found her owner, so she has stayed with us since then :)
Thespian*: I picked up from the streets my female cat, Yashira (she was in good condition). At the time she was about 9 months old. Almost 9 years ago since then, and every day I give thanks for have her by my side. :)
Very kind of both of you. Incidentally, the most loyal dog I've had as a kid was the one we picked up off the street. Strays always seem to make the best pets.
Thespian*: Everytime I hear a story like this, I just wish to people capable of doing something like this to have a close encounter with a serial killer (I mean it). I don't understand how someone is able to do something like this.
I don't wish anything that harsh on them, but I'll admit if I ever met them I'd have a hard time restraining myself from punching them in the face.
