Lemon_Curry: Ditto. I'm in as well if that's okay.

BranjoHello: Another ditto here.
Ditto the ditto of the ditto?
I'm not really familiar with the AD&D characters (despite probably having played loads of games based on them). I usually end up hybriding everything in an attempt to be able to do all the stuffs, but I hear Icewind Dale is good against that.

I'm just about to start Baldur's Gate 2, so you can probably ask me again in a few months :D
I'm in for teshra. No non humans in my party.
1) Human Paladin
2) Human FTR
3) Human Thief
4) Human Illuionist
5) Human mage
6) Human Bard
I'm in for Pickle1477. That's the kind of party I would put together also

Thanks Coelocanth :)
I have not played the game, but based on my experience with the Baldur's Gate series I would go with this:

Boddic: Male Human Paladin
Thongar: Male Dwarf Fighter (would be Half-Orc if Icewind Dale offered it)
Doruk: Male Dwarf Fighter/Cleric
Anaria: Female Half-Elf Cleric./Ranger
Jenail: Male Elf Mage/Thief
Cenill: Male Human Invoker
What if I never played Icewind Dale? >_> Can I still participate?

Enebias: I already own the game, so I'm obviously not in, but thanks for your numerous giveaways! ;)

Since IWD is a melee-heavy game, my party was composed of almost only humans, the only exceptions being an half-elf fighter/druid (I needed those healing spells while my human fighter (lv9)/cleric was shaping up for dual classing) and a pure fighter Dwarf to use as tanker. The rest of the party was composed by a fighter(lv3)/mage specialized in bows, a fighter/thief (named Martin Looter King, for instance) and a Bard.
Here is my suggestion for all the new players: pick a bard in your team! That class is obscenely overpowered! With the "War chant of Sith" you'll be almost invincible.
I like the bard a lot more in the D&D Third Edition or in 3.5. In the games based on the rules of those editions, the bard is always present in the party. And despite being melee heavy, i never felt in IWD the need for more than two fighters (but i abused the active pause a lot, i confess that).
Thanks for the entries, everyone. Today's lucky winner is Pickle1477! Enjoy the game.

Stay tuned for the next giveaway.
Congrats to the winner and thanks to Coelocanth.

True, even a party with just two fighters can manage to go through the game with no issues at all.
In my playthrough, I preferred to use a fighter-heavy party because the difficulty was cranked up to the max, and having those more HP along with a "to hit" bonus helped a lot, especially in the first and last phases!

By the way... congrats to the winner, and thanks to Coelocanth!
