Personally, I don't think gore is scary; I prefer things that are more atmospheric (say, The Others or The Woman In Black).

the 3 vids we posted were disturbing so gore and violent scenes is scary if done right.

Yeah, I know what you're saying. I'll amend my statement to "Generally I don't find gore scary". It can be, but a lot of movies tend to seem like "Let's be gross for the sake of being gross" - that's what I don't find scary.

agreed, the violent scenes in SAW got nothing on how quint got eaten by jaws or how brutal murphy got killed in robocop.

Quite a disturbing film in general to be honest.

Halloween rocks! What other day can you dress up a costume without being stopped by the local police? Also, Halloween is a day when you get to act like a kid. I love it!
