You might think that the Steam forums are a bit like Airstrip One, where it's a dystopic land where bans are showered upon users a lot, and there is a genuine need to have moderators. And it's really unfunny, filled with moronic threads about "THIS FAGGOT STOLE MY ACCOUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!! VAC HAXXXXXXXXXX!" and the like.
It isn't. You must read at least the first two pages. Then of couse, as is with all things Steam-related, the joke wears off after the fourth page or so.

That's pretty much why I only stick to one of the private boards on GameFAQs and even then I rarely bother to visit the forums.
