50 K isn't so bad. Granted, the games are cheap, so they won't milk much out of them, but I figure they must get them for cheap also, since the games are pretty old.
I can't stress enough how GOG's support and their general behavior towards customers helps to make us all like the website and service. They also seem very community driven, which can only help to recommend them that much more.

Hello,
I am new. I noticed an ad somewhere. I downloaded one of the free games a while ago but I only came back for more when I got my GP2X Wiz. (Rise of the Triad is supported and Duke 3D will be, soon.) I am a mac user so all these Windows based games had little appeal (though I can play them thanks to VMWare Fusion.)
Speaking of being a mac user; has anyone else noticed how mac this website looks? The shelf, the lightbox, the shine effect on the cover images, etc. It makes me wonder why OS X compatible downloads are not offered.
Anyway, you may have also noticed I did not formally introduce myself in the official thread (yet.) PMs are not supported and I just don't like being too revealing online and I don't like weeding through too many death threats in my personal inbox. I will set up an auxiliary email account soon to share with all-o-y'all.
Cheers,
Jim

The community isn't growing, you're just shrinking. ^_^

and it's called "Web 2.0"
Glad to be here.
And I am referring to aesthetic qualities rather than function.
I have attached a sample image (I hope.) P.S. This is not my collection, just an image found via Google :)

The community grew a whole lot since the closed beta, it can only bring good things.
