Im sure that most gamers could care less about this. I myself (an independent) am slightly interested in watching some.

Does anybody know when they are scheduled to have the 1st debates?

The first one is October 3rd.

C-Span will be hosting the debates online. Already they host the senate races, of which i've watched a few. A great voter resource. i cut cable years ago, so this made me very happy they were hosting the full debates :)

Does anybody know if I'll be able to download them or view them on delay? Because of my location, I'm not sure that I'm going to be able to view them live.

OTOH, I've already made up my mind and I doubt that Romney is going to be able to say or do anything to repair his credibility problem.

You'll have to check out the site to see if they can be downloaded. But i do know that these debates are archived for later viewing. Everything i've watched has been archived. The oldest video i've seen listed is from back in May. They probably go back farther, i just never looked.
