NerdKoopa: Is Slipstream 5000 any good? I think I saw a copy in a nearby flea market some time ago.
Very, very fun. I recently bought a sealed copy off eBay. The seller still has a few more copies for sale if you're interested.

I just found out that Gamersgate is still selling it. It's a 5$ download, no DRM, runs on current PCs :D

tburger: If you cannot find PC version of Wipeout - have you considered buying PSX version and run it on PSX emulator? It should be easy and cheap (right now on biggest polish auction there are 4 auctions of that game for less than $10). Moreover emulator will make it better looking (higher resolution etc.) I played PSX version of Wipeout on my PC - runs flawlesly.
This. I have the DOS version of WIpeout 1 and it is CRAP. The PSX version is far superior and probably a lot cheaper anyway.

Avoid the PC version of Wipeout 2097 too. It runs far too fast on most modern PCs and there doesn't seem to be any reasonable way to slow it down. Again, the PSX version is your best bet.

There's Extreme-G 2 but no-one I know has ever had any luck getting to run on any PC post-2000.

Apart from that, erm, Slipstream is a great game, Powerdrome isn't too bad. There's Dethkarz (pretty good), Killer Loop (not that great), and H-Craft Championship, an indie download title.
