After seeing the WW1 Strategy Games thread, it reminded me of my old passion - the American Civil War. Ever since I saw the movie "Gettysburg", I have been fascinated by the subject, and have spent years learning everything I can about it.

I just reinstalled Sid Meier's Gettysburg, and to this day, I haven't found an ACW game that I have enjoyed as much as this. I've been looking for a copy of SM's Antietam, but it is pretty rare and expensive. (Vote [url=http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/sid_meiers_antietam]them!)

I haven't been in the loop for this niche for a long time. What do you think are the best American Civil War games?
Ever played a decent Civil War FPS? The only decent shooter I remember was the first chapter of Darkest of Days, but you had an assault rifle through most of it....

So... Discuss. What are the best American Civil War games?

Probably some of the best are John Tillers Battleground Games - I still have the Originals. Check this link to Johns Civil War Games for sale
I remember enjoying Robert E. Lee: Civil War General back in the day. I know I still have the disc around here somewhere.

An hour of gameplay here.

Wow, according to the Moby Games profile it is made by Impressions, developers of the CIty Builder series. Wasn't aware of that at the time.
Sid Meier's Gettysburg was pretty good.

The old Talonsoft Gettysburg and othe civil war titles were pretty good too.
North & South is the best!
