yyahoo: Ahh, well then, while that isn't a word, it achieves the goal you were desiring... personally, I never really noticed a lot of sound when people eat popcorn with their mouths open, but maybe the movies theaters in my area have louder sound than yours. I get more worked up over stupid people texting and playing games on their phones in the middle of a movie...
Hence the "[?]":)
Well, cinemas are LOUD in here, to the point that some louder scenes cause irritation on/with a lot of the audience, i mean, You can see them curl up on the seats. Thing is, i have a very sensitive ear, i hear a lot of things clearly, and my friends need to concentrate on them to notice. [like that Xp chime in grimrock, though it's really audible]. That, and movies are not all noise, there are a lot of quieter scenes, when You get hit by a wall of eating sounds. Cinemas are a torture chamber for me.
Gotta say, on one side, it's nice to have a sensitive ear, and catch a lot of extra stuff, a great perk when one loves music, and can hear those quiet voices in the studio on some recordings. On the other side, most music is a pain to listen to, cinemas are no fun, boardgame evenings with chrispy food is no fun at all. But that's a topic for a different topic.
