Capcom on GOG would be a insta-buy for me as well. The three first games of the Resident Evil series is something I have long thought about revisiting, for one. ;)

Am I the only one who wants to play Breath of Fire IV on PC? :|

I'm certainly interested!
How does it compare to the earlier Breath of Fire games?

No, I wouldn't mind giving it a try.
Always quite liked the look of Chaos Legion as well, although IIRC it got pretty mixed reviews.

That's my only experience with BoF series, sadly, so I can't tell you much.

Play the first!!
People generally seem to like the second better but I can't imagine it -- first game is one of my favourite games ever, period.

darthcobley: i read from reviews on amazon that the resident evil and devil may cry games are unplayable with out a game pad on pc?

Depends on your preference.

stonebro: Them both being shitty and slapped-together console ports, yes I'd expect they are. I even heard they didn't bother including keyboard support at all.

Capcom has had a poor reputation for their PC titles in the past, but in recent years have really stepped things up -- I can speak for Devil May Cry 4 as being a quality product (3 was not, and they admitted to outsourcing it and other titles like RE4 for the worse).

mogamer: Have you ever played any MAME games with just a keyboard? You need a gamepad or joystick for any arcade port anyway. But ya, you need a gamepad for their games. But now that Ubisoft doesn't do their pc ports things have improved. DMC4 was pretty good., and I'm playing SFIV on the pc right now and it is very good. Honestly there are very few pc gamers without a gamepad nowadays. Sadly it's become an essential piece of equipment for modern pc gaming.

I dont think thats sad -- it opens the door for different kinds of games. SF IV would be a nightmare with a keyboard.

SFIV is actually quite playable with a keyboard.

I guess it's a preference thing..I really can't stand it myself.

Strider... pleeease? Also I am shocked and appalled it hasnt been mentioned yet. Its a seriously good platformer. And completely nuts to boot.

It was a good solid platformy action game but the screwjob at the end was bloody annoying
