Dear GOG Users!
First of all, on behalf of the whole GOG team I'd like to thank you very much for your support and all positive comments we have received in so many posts. This really makes us believe that we do the right thing and gives us even more power and motivation to continue our way of bringing classic games with 100% DRM-free policy.
Second thing is, that if you are happy about what we offer here, please help to spread the word about GOG in other places. We do our best to be visible in as many places as we can, but our efforts have their limits, as there are not as many people working on GOG communication across the web as we'd like (actually two guys, Vandal and me).
Please do not treat it as a request, or something that we expect you to do. No... We just say, help us if you really feel (from deep inside) comfortable with it, and if you think that GOG is worth your help.
Once again, thank you everyone!
And have fun!
GOG.com team via Cook :)
EDIT: You can check our "Spread the word" section to get some banners and maybe even buy yourself a GOG t-shirt!

I just found a cool news on http://www.abandonia.com
They have started a competition worth 30 Dollars of GOG-games.

http://www.abandonia.com/en/forum?url=showthread.php?t=27273
Please release The blues brothers and Twisted Metal 2
I''ve gotten 3 of my friends addicted to your site and all of the awesome games. I do take pains to bring it up when appropriate and boost it as much as possible. One of the webboards I frequent has an ongoing 'how many games do you own from GOG.com" - the average answer is about 5 and at least 15 more people went here to check out your stuff. GoG is my only video gaming outlet now.
Thank yoy guys for make reality the dream of some dinosaurs like me. I never believe that I could play again some of the titles you had in GOG catalogue. I talk about Gog with all my friends, some of them hardcore gamers, and we appreciate that the catalogue grows and growns.

Thanks a lot and please, PLEASE, publish all the Wing Commander Franchise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great site, it's been good watching the catalog slowly grow.

The no DRM policy is something very special for PC gamers and I will show preference for GoG over Steam even if Steam is offering a sale.

Thanks for the site and stuff.
Hello, do you plan to allow purchases through moneybookers in the future?
I may be an exception, but currently I have no other means of purchasing online.

Slowly??? C'mon, we're kicking @ss ;)
GOG is a wonderful site. So clean, uncluttered, easy to navigate, very slick and didn't have full of ads.
I visit other site like Steam, it's cluttered with ads, very confusing to navigate, to many words and letters which overload my brain in a very bad way.
I can't wait to start my freelance work so that my PayPal would have funds. I can't wait to have my shopping spree in GOG.
I'll put a GOG link in my FB pages, in my portfolio site and in my deviant Art page.
Congrats and more power and more customers to come.
Games I want to play again are
Blues Brothers ,
Duke Nukem 2 ,
Shadow Warrior ,
Need For Speed Underground 2 ,
Sim City 2000 ,
Jazz Jackrabbit games
and the other Painkillers games :D

Thank you for that, but that's not what this thread is made for. If you want to submit the games you'd like to see on GOG go to the wanted list.

Okay thanks, by the way somebody should clean up this place (or at least feature a report button) , it's full of titles that aren't even on pc or has been already released on GOG
GOG, thank you for being a wonderful corner of the web for classic gamers! Every friend I know shall be told of your goodness. This, I swear!
"Second thing is, that if you are happy about what we offer here, please help to spread the word about GOG in other places."

I would, but you guys need two things:

A. Somebody to come up with snappy and witty lines for logo T-shirts

B. Better prices for the merchandise. $25/T-shirt? I can get a completely custom 1-item run at a local place at that price.

If both were satisfied today, I'd be a walking FREE advertisement for you in New York already.

Frankly, I might've even swallowed the price just to show my support, but the lack of any creativity whatsoever in the logo T-shirts was the main reason I did not make a purchase.

If you want people to notice your adverts (which, frankly, is what the logo clothes are), make it attract attention. Current selection, despite the color choice, does not. Really.

As a side note, you guys might not even realize how wide your following is. If you signed up some smaller developers and become an actual DRM-free choice for new releases, there's plenty of folk I know that would leap at the opportunity.

I'd be the first to line up with cash in my hand, if only to shaft back EA or Ubi for their "business practice." My Mass Effect still needs some crappy online activation (despite their claims that it would get patched out), meaning in the future I might not even be able to install it. My Dragon Age Awakening is still not sufficiently patched, despite some game-stopping issues. And I can't play the new Settlers because I'll sooner skip on the game altogether than have some moronic "stay online because ZOMGBBQ piracy!" software installed on my system, thank you very much.

There's quite a few new-ish games I'd be throwing bucks at if they were DRM-free.

Anyway, good job realizing there's actually people with money willing to support reasonable business practice ;)
I cannot believe i didn't know of this site...i found it while searching on how to play Ripper on windows 7 (had bought the original version from e-bay)...
When I saw ALL the Tex Murphies there i was astonished...

Amazing adventure collection (though some of my wishlist still missing :P ), amazing prices and great site overall...Of course I'm spreading this knowledge to anyone i know...

Playing Tex Murphy: Overseer in a windows 7 PC: priceless

Continue to give us joy :))))
