Got to know about this through RPS and Indiegames.com. It's a top-down shooter with KB+M controls. Despite my initial skepticism, I ended up playing the demo for two hours. It's crazy fun. So the premise is like this: an AI has taken over a random facility, on a random planet, and has infected its inhabitants, turning them into cyborgs. Or something like that.

But that's not important once the game starts. You start off with only a pistol in a procedurally generated level, and your task is to find the teleporter to proceed to the next level. Now here's the neat part: along the way, you'll find junk, explosives, ammo, weapons etc. Everything has a purpose here, and most useful items can be crafted from something. Found a can + RDX500? Turn it into a pzfaust (rocket launcher). If you find some hardware, add it to your pistol and it becomes an autopistol. Can't find ammo for your nailgun? Combine box of nails and explosives to get nail ammo. Don't let the graphics fool you, this game gets a lot of things right.

Alas, to survive in the beginning, you will have to master the art of the knife. Combat is intense, as enemies don't just shamble towards you. Some will run circles around you, forcing you into melee combat. Ammo can at times get really scarce. And then there are the secret rooms, which can be revealed by planting explosives next to weaker walls. Check out the demo if all this sounds interesting to you.

Yeah, I actually bought this a few days ago on a whim. Great fun, and I really like the crafting system.
Followed it on tigsource for a while, saw it came out, and am now hoping I can find the cash for it. Looks great.
This looks promising... I wish i had cash for it, but I don't at this moment. I will likely grab it when I do have some money. Great find and thanks for posting it! <3 roguelikes!!!

I was eyeing this a bit ago. Is it DRM-free?

I think it is, since there's no mention of the Steam requirement on the Desura page.

Right on. Bought!
I bought this right from the developer. I can confirm it is indeed DRM-free. I have the 64bit Linux version running on my laptop actually. I love this game!!
