I too was sceptical, now I own a tablet and a smartphone. The tablet, albeit not the greatest one in the market has taken the space I before filled with laptop. Casual surfing, reading e-books, playing old point & click games, you name it. As it is, I am typing this on my tablet in a hotel room.

On my smartphone I have my e-mails, calender, notes, websurfing, even tethering my web connection with wlan or usb.

Sure, nothing you couldn't do with a laptop, but far more convinient to carry along.

My iPhone changed my life.
