Looks fantastic. Out now through the Humble Store DRM-free for $9.

Normally I don't like these top down style games, but the strategy in this looks appealing - but with the lack of visual design going on, $9 is a bit steep for me
Yeah the visuals could have a bit more going for them but they also could be a lot worse. They seem coherent, at least, and the animations seem fluid for the most part (especially if you watch the...creatures'...death animations).

True!

Though like I said - i think $9 is a little steep - I'd happily pay $6 if it came to GOG though
So I tried this out. Demo wasn't long enough to say if I'd keep playing it. The levels I was able to play were all pretty easy.

It is pretty interesting, especially having to craft gear and such, but like I said, the demo didn't give me a whole lot of an idea of how the difficulty ramps up later on and I'm a bit concerned about secure zones and how much gas they generate but the demo cut off as I was testing how much gas I could grab from the one secure zone I had.

To be clear, I'm pretty sure the demo cuts off after a certain amount of visits to zones. Didn't really say. Just seemed that way. Your save transfers to the full game, though!

Oh and the demo only allows campaign mode and saves but loading is disabled.

Looks kinda neat. Trying out demo
The game looks interesting. But is so ugly! I hope they'll improve the graphics. The art style doesn't help either.

It looks better in game. The portraits are still pretty bad but the rest of the graphics definitely look a lot better in-game. The rain is a really nice effect.

They still have a lot of work to do. Maybe some of us should write them some feedback. Hopefully this will turn out good.
I have a spare Survivor Squad Desura code, reply to this post if you want.

edit: gave it.
