Hi
I've just added Setup shortcut to Start Menu. Have fun :)
It's a funny name for a racing game, but I'll check out the demo if it.
Is this related to "Screamer Rally" at all?
Remember playing the demo of this game, which wouldn't run properly on my machine at the time. Which kind of pissed me off since it looked like a fun game.
Maybe not a steal for $5.99, but the newer Outrun 2006 title isn't much better than this game, gameplaywise, which just shows you that the arcade racer genre hasn't had much attention on the PC for many years.

I think it uses the same engine, but Screamer Rally (as far as I remember) actually had some physics and hardware accelerated graphics.
This is the racing game I've been wanting without knowing it I think! Thanks guys, will get this one asap. :)

In terms of gameplay, not really. People just thought it'd be nice to franchise-ify the Screamer games. Also see Screamer 4x4, which is the best off-road driving sim there is (and I'm not just saying this because it's a Hungarian-developed game). It's quite realistic - that's the first game I've seen that had a key binding for the clutch, might even be the only one.

Back then it may have been, certainly not now. I don't know how many, but GTR 1 and 2 have clutch bindings, and are some of the toughest most realistic driving sims available.
Already asked that over at the Screamer section, but I guess more people will read it here:
How come this is licensed through Interplay? It was published by Virgin and what publicly available information I could find about them doesn't mention any relationship with Interplay. So, are other Virgin titles also available through them (for example Ignition, a.k.a. Bleifuß [German title for Screamer] Fun in Germany), or is this a special arrangement?

Man, and I thought it looked familiar!
