Just thought of this old fave RTS of mine, Metal Fatigue. Thinking most people haven't even heard of it. Now, what makes it special? Three things come to mind.

It has Combots, giant (three-four times the size of the tanks ingame) bipedal robots with swords, lasers, railguns and what have you. Each bot is made from four different parts, and they're all interchangeable. Even to the point that weapons like axes and swords can cut arms off, which other 'bots can then pick up on the fly.

There are three factions, each with a campaign and their own tech tree. (Four if you count an unplayable one with immensely powerful Combots)

It has three layers of each map (sky, ground and subterranean), each with different strategies needed and each can potentially contain serious enemy bases.

Here, have a few pictures and the intro!

Sounds like a pretty decent addition to Gog, I should say =)

Edit: Seems like someone beat me to the punch. Do vote it up in the wishlist though, folks!

I loved this game and have been looking for a version that is not crazy collector expensive. Few RTS's are this innovative.
This game was ever so much fun and about the only really fun mech RTS we have on the PC where the mechs are more than just prefab constructs (though I say that without having played MechCommander series games).

Sadly it proved to be very incompatible with my newer graphics cards adn drivers and is currently in the small pile of currently unplayable games. If GoG got this running again it would be a great addition.

Of course GoG are always working on new stuff for us and I suspect (esp after their last video conference) that they have a lot that they are already working on in the background to make sure that its compatible with the modern setups.

I know the pain. Once spent years trying to track down a copy of Enemy Infestation. One copy was constantly up for about 80 bucks. One day another just popped up on eBay for 99 cents. Keep watching, I reckon.

Reminds me of the two expansion packs for Mechwarrior Mercenaries 4 - both of the only copies I could ever find were at the £100 price point. So I just set to with waiting. Nice thing about GoG is that they at least try to get the whole package with most games - Sold Out and other similar old game retail groups tended to just go for the game - expansion packs only appeared if there was a gold-edition (single disk) that got released for them to grab.
Love this game, want to see it here.
METAL FATIGUE WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT IT!
