So I purchased a Logitech G13 and a cheap Logitech 360 keyboard.
I think I made a mistake.
I read the reviews about how the joystick was useless and badly designed, but I ignored them and rationalized reasons against them. I chalked all the negative rep the device garnered to illegitimate razer fanboyism. I still do, but now I wonder why I ever bought a keypad. I guess it was a cheap option at the time seeing as the g13 was something like 40 dollars and the keyboard was like 15 or something, while being wireless and "compact" designed, whereas the newest kool wuhn is like 200 dollars if it has the word "gaming" slapped on it.
I just want a high quality keyboard now.
This is because I've found it ultimately awkward to switch in between the keypad and keyboard when I need to type and also because certain buttons aren't immediately available in the keypad such as number and f keys whose commands sometimes can't be rebound in certain games. I also don't like how the keys feel on the cheap keyboard. The buttons aren't cupped like you usually see on most keyboards and the keys are very cheap feeling.
Also I'm no fan of giant keyboards. The cheap keyboard I have now has a compact design, but it still retains all buttons and functionality including the number pad.
I don't feel like spending a gillion dollars. I probably won't buy anything but I was curious of what people might suggest.
I'm quite happy with my m510 Logitech mouse even if it's cheap, but if somebody could suggest a 'quiet' wireless alternative that'd be welcome. I bought a Logitech gaming mouse before but returned it because it had this bullshit hydroretard "grips" on the side which was actually slippery and the mouse would run out of battery constantly in addition to being heavy as a rock. The cheap mouse I have now is extremely light and battery efficient.
Thanks for any suggestions.
