So, SOR veterans, how does this version compare to the three (separate) originals?

To compare SORR to any of the originals individually would take to long, theres just too much shit to compare. It would be easier and quicker just to say "Play the originals" (and Bare Knuckle 3 for differences between BK3 and SOR3) :)

i cant even beat the damn thing on easy, i used up my last life on the final stage!

Same problem for me... anyone know if co-op is any easier?

Just great how companies seem to shut down fan-projects last minute. The dev has contacted Sega years ago, no complains back then. Well, let's wait and see what happens.

Yep the game is definitely easier on co-op and AI-buddy, I just came back from my brothers and finished helping him complete the game for the first time... and he was drunk, lmao

I also stole Rudra for him too :)

i can also confirm its easier with an ai buddy, having just finished it on easy using the same route that wiped me out on stage 8 before, and i only lost my last life on my first continue on the final boss

Ohhhhh crap, that's why. Why on earth would Sega be pissed about it? It didn't even use any of the original coding for any of the games so legally its not like Sega can hound them about it.

What is it with companies being butthurt when fans make such great remakes of games? I don't get it, if anything I thought they'd be seeing $$$$$$$$ instead but IDK.

It happened to Chrono Resurrection with Square Enix, lets hope it doesn't go down like that here.

Woo! Managed to get good enough with Blaze to beat the game solo and unlock a few extras. I've been trying out Rudra lately, who's a lot of fun.

Yeah, it sucks Sega took it down, my guess as to why they didn't like it: If Sega somehow decided to make another game, they know they be fucked when it comes to surpassing SORR :D
I don't understand what some developers problem with fan games are (as long as they're free)
If I had made a commercial title and some amateurs were making a fangame on my unquestionably awesome game - I'd be damn proud :) ... as long as they're not making money of it.

Gratz man, just unlocked everything. Rudra is indeed pretty fun. She's joint favourite with Shiva so far, I haven't played with Elle yet though.

So is there some other place to download it online? I'd be very happy if you could direct me in the right direction.
