I am TheCheese33 on XBox Live, same as here. I also use a fight stick, a Hori Tekken 6 one, but it works just as well as the Street Fighter Madcatz ones (the first really good controller Madcatz has made).
TheCheese33.
EDIT: Crap. I assumed it ate my other post up, so I summed up my longer one, but now they're both here.

GfWL: Snickersnacks
I just purchased the game this afternoon and hope to have it installed by the weekend. Last fighting game I played was on the Super Nintendo, so if you need a punching bag, look me up. ;)
It looks like a lot of fun. I'm excited.

It's a great game, and will be an excellent transition from SF2.

Try replacing the buttons for Hori Tekken 6 stick with Sanwa buttons. It's a lot more responsive plus silent as well. You can give Seimitsu buttons a try, it gives better tactile feedback (didn't really use this extensively).
Usually Sanwa buttons are cheaper than Seimitsu buttons.
So I'm guessing you're really not meant to be playing this on the ol' keyboard, huh.

Haha god no.
Although there's the rare weirdo that prefers it.
Use Xbox controller or Madcatz fight pad thinger.

Playing on keyboard is entirely possible.
I can do all moves on the keyboard including Zangief's 360 and 720 moves.
One thing I couldn't do on the keyboard is the focus cancel moves, no matter how hard I tried. And also for charged characters, you won't be able to do buffering.
Either get an arcade stick or gamepad (if you are on a budget)
Yeah, it's apparently possible. I tried and found it hopeless, myself, though. Kinda like me going back to a gamepad for a shooter now. :P
It's good to start with arcade stick because it's much easier to execute moves or combos.
Took me a month to get used to it.
From playing predominantly with keyboard to arcade stick.
That reminds me, I gotta find time to mod my arcade stick.

Sorry but I have to disagree, I main Balrog on the keyboard (while I save some money for a good stick) and I can buffer the moves very well (not perfect but good enough), plus on the keyboard there are shortcuts for a few moves, such as any charge character ultra, all you have to do to pull an ultra on keyboard is hold back 2 secs then tap forward twice while still holding back and punch/kick.
I'm not very good at all but I'm definitely up for a some matches when I get around to playing it.

I'm not good at the game in any measure but when I get around to booting it up and playing it, I'll definitely be up for a match or two.
Steam ID (if you actually want that...): iFightBears
