nightrunner227: Here's the explanation

Apparently it's a sale for games GOG thinks Dungeon Keeper fans will enjoy since they gave DK away a while back. I just got an email about it.
Well, damn them, just bought a copy of startopia. All I can say is well played Mr. Gog.

Evil Genius is awesome, i just played through it a week or two ago, and it's one of those games that actually runs better on Linux in some ways.

Licurg: LOL ! Why wasn't I informed ? :/

EDIT: There's nothing about any sale on the pages of any of the games... Could it be a permanent price drop ?
avatar
Aemenyn: It's displayed like a sale (Orange price tag, "You save" etc.) so that seems a bit unlikely.
Seems more like a sale that went up too soon or something.
If I were them I arbitrarily jack up the price of a few games and then put them on permanent discount back to the normal price.

Is sacrifice a very difficult game? Because in my very limited experience with RTS (very limited, my only real experience with a "traditional" RTS is C&C Red Alert, which I didn't really like) I don't really like the genre that much. But if Sacrifice is different enough, or just not too difficult, I think that I'd enjoy it.
Here's the 'secret link':

Apparently wouldn't fit on the front page.
Busy day. :)

Licurg: EVERYONE BUY SACRIFICE !!!
NO! You buy it and then cry because you bought Sacrifice

IAmSinistar: Weird, wonder if they're priming another sale on the side? Looks like a good time to finally grab Overlord for myself, at least.

tinyE: I'd love Overlord but I don't have the OS for it. :-(
Unless turning down all the settings won't totally ruin it. Anyone here ever play it?
OS as in Operation System?

If that's the case then Wine does incredible job on high graphics.

I wasn't joking but that's a fair question. :P The problem is that my PC is getting on in years. 2007 is about the newest game I can run and that's if I turn specs down but that varies on the game. Overlord looks pretty graphically intense.

To give you an idea.

I play the game on maxx with following specs:
geforce 430 GT
Celeron G530 @ 2.4 GHz

Have an old PC laying around.
If I'm not too lazy to plug the hard drive I might test how it's working on it, but no promises.
