stoicsentry: Do you have any other suggestions as to how I could improve the game?
Not at the moment. I'll let you know if I think of something.

BTW, I still can't get over the death of Mrs. Costa. If she died during Morris' treatment, wouldn't Joseph already know by then? How did she end up being shot if she died during surgery? I can only think that either Morris or CC must have shot her after she died. Why is this a red herring then?

She didn't die during Morris' treatment. She was shot.

The death during surgery was someone that wasn't crucial to the game.

It's a red herring because it's a fact I introduced (his wife was killed), that doesn't have any bearing on the mystery itself, even though it seems like it might.
Ouch... I saw it all wrong then... So... there is no way for us to solve Mrs. Costa's murder mystery then? :-D

Now that you mention it, that's a good idea! Maybe that is game 2? Unfortunately it's a "cold case" but I'll see if I can make that happen.

I put the intro back up on post 1. I would just add everything there but GOG doesn't let you when your posts are too long!

Final request if it is not too much to ask. Is it possible to give the full content of the three letters/journal entries?

Sure. It's on my flash drive though, which is elsewhere at the moment. I will post it up as soon as I can.

Are you planning to write a story based on it? hehe

Please put them on a separate post (I mean, please do not update the original burnt content).

Cool :)

Yes, sure, will do.
I have a few suggestions that might help:

GoJays clue seems to be next to useless since a piece of navy blue fabric was found. The other players couldn't have found out my clue unless they asked my character or I accidentally revealed it, and the same should have applied for GoJays. For example: If GoJays clue was that the person who ran into Alexa had dark hair and he had a list of 5 people who had dark hair.

Also, you might want to limit the total number of PMs available. On the first day of the game, everybody had used up their PMs except for me. Since I didn't use all of mine it forced the game to be played in the topic. It also makes for a more interesting read for the people who want to read the thread but aren't playing. The players would have to be more crafty about who they suspect and be extra careful about exposing the clue given to them at the start of the game. I used the idea of checking the snow for footprints and examining peoples shoes at the same time to make the other players think I believed the killer might have walked outside at some point when I didn't believe that at all, I just needed to know who wore heavy boots since my clue only told me who was overweight.

You might also want to pay closer attention to your tally of clues/answers post. I asked CC "Did you see who attacked your husband?" and she answered "No, I'm just as unclear on that as he is." which was detected as a lie. You never updated the post that contains the clues to show that she had lied which might have helped me win since nobody started questioning CC.

Gotcha. I think in the future, also, I would limit examinations and questions here, too. Because sometimes it was like 20 questions at a time, which is a bit much.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I'm honestly surprised that I ended up with as flew plot holes as I did. Even the best writers get those. Must have been sheer luck.

Full text of Horace Kim's letter to the victim:

Consequences for disruption of this activity should be
tremendous. Be careful that they are
not visited on the one that made the foolish
decision here and that would be you

Persist in frustrating my moves at your own risk
They result in your own undoing,
Be sure, I suggest you take this time to think up your own approach here
You should see there are few in the world that have given you more than me...
The doubt than makes no sense...
Don't you realize what you're doing?

My suggestion on this matter is that we must be certain to retain a majority share,
to not do so would be insane..

Full text from Dr. Morris' journal (Some unrevealed)

16, a mere 16 years of age, entrusted to my care,
for what? So, I could end her life through my reckless
behavior? If I just had one less, that's what I tell
myself. But one is never enough, it becomes 2, it becomes 3,
before I know it, I'm lying face down promising
never to do it again. Now this sad specter will
plague my career forever, because I had to go through with
the procedure. But not only my career, but my
life. If ever there should be greater curse
than a secret.... I am unaware.

I killed her, no one else was to blame for what
occurred. Yet I recognize the harm that
would come from owning up to this sin.
That, and the truth is, it's more than just
me that would suffer for this action.
It occurred that the best thing at this
moment would be to merely move on. Am
I haunted? Yes, that there is no changing it
...There is only the recognition that
tomorrow is a new day, and I look forward to
seeing the sun again, knowing that for one person
there will be no more sunrises.
Cecilia assured me that I will have
her utmost support and for that I am so grateful.

Looking forward with this in mind, therefore,
I have all the more reason to continue to struggle against these
demons for they are the ones that are responsible for the misery,
my shaky hands, the blade...
