Ok so i am intrested in getting majesty 2 from steam, Its £10 and i was waiting for this to come on steams daily deals until now

So i somehow found the paradox fantasy pack, Elven legacy complete Majesty gold and Majesty 2 complete in the same pack for £6

Winning? I think so!

Has anyone found any other deals like this?

Instant buy!

Thanks for pointing this out.
Don't think there are many other deals like that around.

I got that pack too, even when I already owned Majesty 2, one of its expansions, and Elven legacy.
So freaking tempting. I'm reading reviews and I'm not that big on hexed strategy games since I haven't really played them (almost zero experience actually) but I like the concept. For eight bucks, I'm feeling the impulse buy urge, but I'm downloading the Elven legacy demo just to see for myself. I remember playing the Majesty demo years ago and liked it some, but never bought it (it had a normal game price back then).

How difficult do you think elven legacy would be to a newbie of the whole genre? I've played RTS's but I'm in diapers when it comes to turn based combat.

That is a pretty nice deal. It was pretty well hidden as well. The one I am looking at is a pretty obvious one; the "2K Complete Pack" that is at the top of the Featured Packages page. Since only have two of those games (Pirate's and X-Com), it is looking very attractive. Yeah, $80 is a lot, but the two games I am most interested in, Civ4 and Civ5 with all the expansions, are $60 by themselves. I am only holding out to see if either of those gets an awesome daily deal before committing, at this point.

Myself i think its quite likely that steam will have a franchise sale on Civ games, I want to buy Civ 4 complete, Not as interested in Civ 5

Same, on all counts. I mainly want to get Civ5 to see why so many people that liked Civ4 dislike it. I have read the comments and watched quite a few Let's Plays of both games, but there is something to be said for experiencing it myself. I haven't played a Civilization game since the original, so I would have next to zero expectations for either version.

I am also semi-curious about Railroad Tycoon 2/3 in the 2K Package deal. I played the original Railroad Tycoon back in the early 90s, and I remember really liking it. Metacritic seems to like them decently enough. Anyone have any opinions on these games? It might be what pushes me over the edge on this deal.

EDIT:
Actually, I think I have pretty much convinced myself to buy this, potential Civilization franchise sale or not. Bioshock 1/2, Civ 3/4/5, Borderlands, plus everything else for only $80. Dunno, I am just not seeing a downside. Sure, there may be games I'll never play much, if at all, but the games I do plan to play must be worth at least $80. I'll still wait and see what else pops up, but I am pretty sure this will be a buy by July 10 for me.
